Community Connections

Tolt Congregational United Church of Christ

Tolt values and supports
our local community

**As an historic church in the Snoqualmie Valley, Tolt values and supports our local community. The Good Neighbor Fund provides modest emergency funds for valley neighbors. (All requests for help must go through a phone call to the church office 425 333 4254.) The fund is financed by the yearly 4th of July Pancake Breakfast

**We host a Free Warm Meal for the community every Wednesday, 5:30pm-7pm.  Join us and your neighbors!

**One current project of the Mission & Justice committee is the Power Pack project.  Collecting food items to send home with students who could use some nutritional support over the weekends.  This is a program of the Empower Youth Network

**Cash benevolence grants to community groups are funded through a percentage of pledged and unpledged offerings.

**Yearly service events include our October 'Treats not Tricks' food drive for local food banks; a Christmas giving tree for the children and parents of Seattle's Mary's Place Shelter; support for Auburn Youth Services teen programs.

**The Lunch Bunch creates and serves lunch at Carnation's Hopelink food bank.

** Tolt Good Neighbor Preschool.  See more info on the Preschool page.

**VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: All children in the community are welcomed to this week of sharing, music, art, story, and just plain FUN! With a small ratio of kids to adults and older teen mentors, VBS provides safe place for kids of all ages and abilities to explore and grow.

**In this area with limited options for space, we rent our facilities to local services groups such as 12-Step Programs, local Scout groups, and Old Friends Club, a day program for adults with dementia and other disabilities.
